Our Team

Our founder, Nazaruddin Othman has more than 20 years working experience as an entrepreneur. He has been involved in conceptualizing, developing and managing Islamic-based projects locally and internationally in the hospitality, tourism, telecommunications, education and non-profit sectors.

Naza’s first entrepreneurial venture was in hospitality and tourism when he became one of the first to offer a bed & breakfast in Kuala Lumpur in his 20s. He has successfully created and managed seven award winning hospitality properties. He is now set to develop wonderful halal products and services for the benefit of Muslims the world over with Mosafer C.

Shukri received the prestigious McCann-Erickson Worldwide Chairman Circle Award New York – Top 50 Executives Worldwide 1998 & the Harrison K McCann Leadership award in 2001.

He is currently the CEO for Rifaie Chua Sethi and was the CEO of Publicis Group Malaysia and CEO of Bates Malaysia.

Asri’s experience spans more than 30 years of design practice across the core disciplines of branding and design, from naming and identity, brand communications, packaging, interface design, exhibition, event consultancy, creative content and activation.

Among the many brands he has helped to develop are Malaysia Airlines, Putrajaya Holdings, Telekom Malaysia, Celcom, ASTRO, DIGI, TDC, Petronas, HSBC, EON, KL Sentral, Dutch Lady, 100 Plus, Levi’s, Nokia, Sheraton Hotels, KFC, Pizza Hut and Mamee Double Decker.

He is currently with Rifaie Chua Sethi.

Bassey is passionate about lifelong learning and training. She is an advocate in cross-border (borderless) education, international marketing and business development. She provides qualification training to teachers, instructors, students and professionals in Asia and Australia since 2008.

Bassey graduated from Malaysia Multimedia University with a Master in Information Technology. She has vast cross culture and diversified working experience in international marketing, offshore training, management, business expansion and development. She currently lives in Queensland, Australia.
